Ray J has addressed the allegations surrounding Sean “Diddy” Combs, stating that he never witnessed any criminal behavior during the infamous parties hosted by the music mogul.
In an interview with Chris Cuomo on CUOMO, the singer discussed his long-term relationship with Diddy and the recent federal charges that have rocked the industry.
Ray J, who frequently attended Diddy’s gatherings alongside other celebrities, was clear in his denial of seeing any illegal activity, including the serious allegations of sex trafficking and racketeering outlined in the federal indictment against the Bad Boy Records CEO.
He emphasized that, while he was present at many of Diddy’s events, the criminal activities now being discussed were entirely unknown to him.
“We’ve never seen the stuff that’s being said and the stuff that people are finding out. I’ve never been in rooms that people are talking about, and I never knew they existed,” Ray J said during the interview.
The artist also reflected on his admiration for Diddy during his early career. He expressed disappointment at the current situation but emphasized that aspiring entertainers should take lessons from Diddy’s legal troubles, advising the next generation to uphold integrity and transparency in the industry.
Diddy was arrested in New York by federal agents and is facing multiple charges, including sex trafficking, racketeering conspiracy, and transportation to engage in prostitution. Despite pleading not guilty to all charges, Diddy remains incarcerated at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn, after being denied bail twice, awaiting trial.
While Ray J acknowledged the severity of the accusations, he remains firm in his disbelief and called for young artists to learn from Diddy’s predicament to avoid similar downfalls.
