Bezos’ and Sánchez’s relationship began in 2016 when they met through Sánchez’s then-husband, Patrick Whitesell. They made their romance public in January 2019, after both announced separations from their spouses. Over the years, they have maintained a close and affectionate partnership, often seen together and sharing a strong bond marked by mutual support and shared interests, including aviation and philanthropy. They got engaged in May 2023 after nearly five years together.
