Will Taylor Swift show up at the Super Bowl on Sunday to watch the San Francisco 49ers play the Kansas City Chiefs?

The platinum-selling pop star, who’s dating Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, is currently on the international leg of her Eras Tour.

On Wednesday, Swift launched four nights of performances in Tokyo. Her last show in Japan is scheduled for Saturday, the day before Super Bowl LVIII.

So is it possible for Swift to make it to Las Vegas in time to see her boyfriend play?

Here’s how the schedule could work out.

When is kickoff time for Super Bowl LVIII?

The Super Bowl will kick off at 3:30 p.m. Pacific Standard Time on Sunday at Allegiant Stadium in Paradise, Nevada, near Las Vegas.

Tokyo is 17 hours ahead of Las Vegas, according to 24TimeZones.com.

In other words, when it’s 3:30 p.m. Sunday in Las Vegas, it’s already 8:30 a.m. Monday in the Japanese city.

How long does it take to fly from Tokyo to Las Vegas?

A flight from Tokyo, Japan to Las Vegas, Nevada takes approximately 12 hours.

Could Taylor Swift get to the Super Bowl on time?

It’s possible, the Japanese Embassy in Washington, D.C. said.

“Despite the 12-hour flight and 17-hour time difference, the Embassy can confidently Speak Now to say that if (Swift) departs Tokyo in the evening after her concert, she should comfortably arrive in Las Vegas before the Super Bowl begins,” the Japanese Embassy said in a statement on X, formerly known as Twitter, on Feb. 2.

There’s a simple reason for that, according to NFL Network reporter Ian Rapoport.

“Let me introduce you to something called the International Date Line,” Rapoport told the co-hosts of ESPN’s “The Pat McAfee Show” on Jan. 28. ”Tokyo is 17 hours ahead. That means this concert on Feb. 10 at 6 p.m. starts at 1 a.m. Vegas time the same day, so the morning before essentially.”

“Let’s say it’s a five-hour concert ends about 11 p.m. local which is 6 a.m.,” Rapoport explained. “Remember it’s still Saturday in Las Vegas, figure it’s a 12-hour flight maybe she leaves about an hour later, Taylor Swift could still get to the Super Bowl to Vegas about 7 or 8 p.m. Saturday night just in time to party.”

In other words, it’s possible Swift could make it to the Super Bowl on time.
