Back in October, Coco’s younger brother, Codey Gauff, shared a proud moment on Instagram, posting a picture of himself in a clean white uniform, baseball in hand.
The post quickly drew excitement and congratulations, including a notable shout-out from Jalen Sera. Sharing the post to his own Instagram story, Sera added flame emojis, showing his encouragement for the rising athlete.
At just 16 years old, Codey has already made a name for himself in the baseball world, earning spots on the All-Festival Select Game Team in consecutive years, 2021 and 2022.
“I am super excited to announce that I will be committing to Mizzou University,” Codey wrote on social media. “First I want to thank God without him none of this would be possible, I would also like to thank my family, coaches and close friends that have pushed me along the way. I want to thank the mizzou coaching staff for believing in me.”
Unlike his sister, who dominates the tennis court, Codey chose a different path, pursuing baseball with remarkable success.
