Best gift ever.
Philadelphia Eagles running back Saquon Barkley will make sure his offensive lineman stay “hydrated” during the team’s Super Bowl LIX parade on Friday by gifting each one of his lineman a literal truckload of Bud Light, giving each one their own truck of beer
In Barkley’s first season in Philadelphia, he ran for over 2,000 yards and was an intricate part in the Eagles run to Super Bowl LIX. Throughout all the success, Barkley has been first to credit his lineman for enabling him to run for all this yards. And now he’s rewarding them for their hard work with this sweet gift.
Now THAT is how you celebrate winning a Super Bowl.
The Philadelphia Eagles are still riding high following their Super Bowl LIX victory, and who could blame them? They dethroned the Kansas City Chiefs and kept them and their fanbase from sporting “Three-peat” merchandise. We all owe them big time. At least for that one game, the Eagles were really “America’s Team,” as far as I’m concerned.
As soon as the game was over, the Philadelphia Eagles and the “City of Brotherly Love” started celebrating their Super Bowl victory – their second since 2017. They scheduled their Super Bowl parade to take place on Valentine’s Day, and it should be quite the rowdy atmosphere when the wheels on the buses get rolling (you thought I was going to say “go round and round,” didn’t you?).
Oh, and Philly went ahead and closed all public schools on Friday just for the celebration:
Bud Light will also be temporarily rebranding for the parade, reinventing itself as “Bird Light” in honor of the Eagles’ championship. The parade is set to kick off at around 11 a.m. from the team’s home at Lincoln Financial Field. The championship ceremony will begin a few hours later at 2 p.m. and the festivities will conclude at approximately 3:15 p.m. ET.
