Demi Lovato Ties the Knot! Inside Her Dream Wedding to Jordan Lutes—And That Stunning Vivienne Westwood Dress

Demi Lovato and Jordan Lutes were married in California on May 25, 2025.

The bride wore a custom Vivienne Westwood wedding dress with an off-the-shoulder neckline and corset bodice; she paired it with a custom cathedral-length veil from the same designer.

Acclaimed wedding photographer Jose Villa documented the couple’s wedding; he also captured their engagement photos earlier this year.

Lovato and Lutes got engaged in December of 2023, when Lutes presented Lovato with a pear-shaped diamond engagement ring.

Demi Lovato and Jordan Lutes are married! The couple tied the knot in California today, May 25, 2025, at 4 P.M. local time, Vogue reports. The bride walked down the aisle in a custom Vivienne Westwood wedding dress. The pearl white gown was made from heavy silk satin and featured an off-the-shoulder neckline and corset bodice. The bride completed her look with a cathedral-length veil.

When I was thinking about [what dress style I wanted] I often found myself coming back to Vivienne’s designs—specifically how the silhouettes really compliment the curves in your body, and her use of corsets,” Lovato told Vogue. The dress came together over the course of five different fittings, the bride told Vogue, and the final look was inspired by a different gown Demi found online. “We were not only able to work off that [initial] inspiration, but we added touches that really make this dress so special to me,” Lovato said.

The bride later traded that gown for another custom Vivienne Westwood creation, an ivory silk satin column dress with a draped corset top and pearl detailing, Vogue notes. “It’s a one-of-a-kind piece that makes me feel so special,” Lovato said.

Lovato and Lutes’s wedding was documented by renowned wedding photographer Jose Villa, who also captured their engagement photos earlier this year. Fans will note that the bride’s pre-nuptial photo look appears to be a prelude to what she wore on the big day—the neckline of her dress, her ultra-glamorous wavy hairstyle, and her makeup are remarkably similar in both instances; the only deviation is that Lovato traded the red lip she wore for her engagement photos for a more neutral pin.

The couple spent the better part of the holiday weekend prepping for their wedding. Yesterday, May 24, 2025, TMZ reported that a rehearsal was underway ahead of the wedding. The bride wore a strapless white dress and walked down a long white aisle to meet Lutes beneath an altar. Black chairs were arranged in tidy lines for guests while a wedding planner (who appears to be acclaimed big-day pro Mindy Weiss based on the photos) gives instructions to the couple and their officiant.

Lovato and Lutes have been linked since 2022; Lutes proposed on December 16, 2023, with a pear-shaped diamond engagement ring. “We’re not trying to skip engagement to get right to wedding,” Lutes told People in October of 2024. “We’re just basking in it and soaking it up. We’ll be married forever. We just want to enjoy every step.”
