NFL fans slam Fox over ‘wild’ TikTok post with Travis Kelce’s ex-girlfriend Kayla Nicole and Taylor Swift

Travis Kelce’s romance with Taylor Swift dominated the 2023 NFL season and it’s showing no signs of slowing down.

Swift may not have been part of the NFL for long but she’s already experienced a Super Bowl victory after Kelce’s Chiefs triumphed over the 49ers in 2024’s Big Game.

The ‘Bad Blood’ singer joined Kelce on the field at Allegiant Stadium to celebrate the win and they sealed the victory with a kiss.

The NFL on Fox TikTok account recently shared footage of that heartfelt moment along with side-by-side clips of Kelce’s two previous Super Bowl victory celebrations.

The video showed Kelce hugging ex-girlfriend Kayla Nicole in 2020 in Super Bowl LIV, brother Jason in 2023 in Super Bowl LVII and Swift in Super Bowl LVIII.

The post included Swift’s song ‘Red’ in the background and had the caption: ‘Three Super Bowl hugs for Travis Kelce’.

However, the post was flooded with comments from fans saying it was odd to bring up Kelce’s ex girlfriend and delve into his personal life just to make content.

Both Kelce and Swift were also tagged in the post.

Many of the comments called for the account to ‘leave his ex alone’ and ‘give her a break’ after the unwanted media attention she’s received following her split with Kelce.

“I know Kayla is tired, like leave her alone,” said one fan.

“Who on y’all’s media team cleared this??” added another.

“NFL, come on now,” wrote a third. “You could posted neither one of these ladies. Give Kayla Nicole a break. You could have posted Travis with his mother and teammates.”

“Even for the Internet this is a hard watch,” someone else replied.

“BRUVVVVVV… fox woke up and choose sheer violence”, a fifth responded.

Kelce and Swift are currently miles apart after celebrating the Super Bowl together and hitting the Vegas strip.

The Chiefs tight end returned home following the game while Swift headed to Melbourne, Australia, to carry on the rest of her Eras Tour.

Over the weekend she was spotted boarding a plane to Sydney wearing a red shirt and Chiefs Super Bowl LVIII hat.

She also sported a ‘TNT’ bracelet which represents both of their initials.

Despite being on the other side of the globe, Kelce still reportedly went all out on Valentine’s Day last week.

According to reports the 34 year old spent $16,000 on Swift.

The gifts included 250 Eternity roses, a £900 black lambskin Dior beret and a £4,000 Bottega Veneta handbag.

It’s certainly been a whirlwind few months for the pair, although they seem to be enjoying it.

However, the sudden interest in their relationship has forced Travis to make some pretty big lifestyle changes.

Brother Jason revealed on recent episode of The Big Podcast with Shaq that his younger brother was forced to move house as things were getting too crazy.
